Meet the Professionals Who Will be Taking Care of Your Smile
Dr. Delynn M. Shattuck was born and raised right here in Saginaw Michigan. She is a graduate of the University of Michigan School of Dentistry where she received her D.D.S. (Doctor of Dental Surgery) in 1983. As an undergraduate, Dr. Shattuck also attended the University of Michigan and earned her Bachelor of Science-degree in Dental Hygiene, after which she practiced as a Dental Hygienist for 3 years before entering graduate school.
Dr. Shattuck’s professional memberships include the American Dental Association, The Academy of General Dentistry, The Michigan Dental Association, The Institute for Laser Dentistry, The Orthodontic Society of America, The International Academy of Mini Dental Implants, along with numerous other local and national organizations and societies.
As an alumnus of the L.D. Pankey Institute for Advanced Dental Education, she joins those graduates characterized as having a strong commitment to the absolute highest standards of excellence. Notably, Dr. Shattuck has completed 6 continuums at this institute. She has completed a three yearlong study of orthodontics and continues advanced education in this subject, including Invisalign, Six Month Fast Braces and Comprehensive Braces for adults and children. She has studied extensively at the Scottsdale Center for Continuing Dental Education, with focus on Cerec crowns that allows us to offer same day crowns with no second visits necessary. Additionally, Dr. Shattuck has received personal training and studied under Dr. James Boyd, the inventor of the NTI appliance, which is responsible for alleviating on many patients severe headaches and migraines without the use of drugs. Currently Dr. Shattuck is pursuing advanced education in the placement and restoration of nonsurgical mini dental implants that are half the cost of traditional implants.
Dr. Shattuck is proud to have been named a “Best of the Best Dentist” for numerous years in The Saginaw News’s Annual Reader’s Polls. She served as the Saginaw Spirit OHL Hockey Club’s team Dentist for 13 consecutive seasons. She was invited and served many years on the advisory board position for the Delta College Dental Hygiene and Assisting Programs.
Dr. Shattuck loves to learn and is continually raising her own bar on success as she expands her knowledge and skill level by attending educational courses that far exceed the average for her profession. In her quest to remain a lifelong student, Dr. Shattuck is committed to continuing education in an effort to expand her knowledge and expertise, and to provide her patients with the very best oral health care.
Her significant time and investments in her practice allow Dr. Shattuck to be an artist in the truest sense of the word. Dr. Shattuck is dedicated to excellence in all she does.

Finally, away from the office, Dr. Shattuck and her husband Bill enjoy their cottage, classic cars, traveling, photography, and time spent with their yellow and chocolate Labrador retriever dogs.
Cheryl F is a Registered Dental Hygienist and a Certified Dental Assistant.
She graduated from Delta College with an Associates in Applied Science in 1985. She has worked with us for 34 years. Cheryl and her husband Tom live in Auburn. They have 3 children, and recently welcomed the newest member of their family, their golden doodle Daisy! In her free time, she enjoys camping, family vacations and spending time with family and friends.
Ann is a Registered Dental Hygienist and a Certified Dental Assistant.
She has worked with Dr. Shattuck for 33 years. She graduated from Delta College with an Associates in Applied Science. Ann has 3 grown children, Cody, Jordan and Abby, and her spoiled chocolate lab Mackinaw. In her spare time Ann enjoys baking, going to the gym and spending time with family and friends.
Jane is a Registered Dental Hygienist who has worked for Dr. Shattuck for 26 years.
A 1980 graduate of Delta College with an Associates in Applied Science, she then continued her education with a Bachelors in Science from Michigan State University in 1984. She lives in Essexville and her family includes daughter Meghan, Son-in-law Tyler and beloved grandson Jaxon. She enjoys spending time with family and friends, and as a proud alumnus is a passionate supporter of MSU Athletics! Go Green!
Veronica is our Front Desk Coordinator and joined Dr. Shattuck’s team in 2002.
She greets each patient with a warm smile and friendly Hello! Veronica enjoys gardening at home, and sponsors a garden at the Saginaw Children’s Zoo. She loves hanging out with her family, taking fishing trips and spending time on Mackinaw Island.
Brooke is a Registered Dental Hygienist who has worked with us for 11 years.
She received her Associates Degree in Applied Science from Delta College in 2005, along with the license to administer oral anesthesia injections for our adult patients. Brooke has 2 children and loves spending time with her family and friends.
Cheryl H is a Certified Dental Assistant who has worked with us for 7 years.
She graduated in 2001 from Delta College with an Associates in Applied Science. She lives in Hemlock with her husband and daughter, Alexis. In her spare time she enjoys working at her family’s orchard and spending time with family and friends.
Kari-Anne is our newest member and we are thrilled to have her with us.
She has 15 years of experience helping patients with their scheduling and financial arrangements and vales most of their relationships she build with her patients who become more like friends and family. Kari-Anne and her husband Brent live in Midland. They have 2 girls, Emma and Hanna. Kari-Anne loves baking with her girls and camping with her family.
